Based on an independent productivity study done by Dr. John McIntyre, PhD from Georgia Tech comparing the omnivan® to a step van:

1) The total unloading time of the
omnivan®
at the account was lower than the step van.

2) The elemental beverage unloading time for the omnivan® was lower than a step van.

3) The elemental beverage movement loading time of the omnivan® was lower than the step van.

4) The capacity of the omnivan® was significantly greater than the step van's capacity.

5) Product accessibility of the omnivan® was superior to the step van.

A large bottling company did their own comparison study and found that omnivan® was a good alternative to bay trucks for full service routes in certain applications. The bottling company made the following observations:

1) Fuel mpg's were higher with the omnivan® saving fuel costs.

2) Due to their smaller size, omnivans were easier to maneuver lowering the risk of an accident.

3) The omnivan® requires no special drivers license and allows the driver more comfort.

4) The initial cost of the omnivan® was lower resulting in a savings in capital expense.

The bottling company's study also showed:

1) A 24% increase in productivity using the omnivan® carrying 378 cases plus a collection security safe (which Equipment Innovators also manufacturers).

2) Drivers picked up an average of two stops per day in 12% less time.

3) Overtime hours were reduced by 12% and driver morale and efficiency increased with the omnivan®.
